Feline Friday - Beamer

I'm happy to introduce Beamer to you today!  Why so happy?  Because Beamer is such a happy cat.

Beamer is about 7 years old, but acts younger than you might think.  He is very playful.  I tried getting a photograph of him playing, but he was much too fast for me and my camera.

Beamer is all over the shop.  He continuously is looking for someone, a toy, or another cat to play with.  He loves everyone!  He is affectionate to say the least and loves loving on people and people loving on him.  The picture below needs a good caption.  Is he wondering why these people aren't petting him?

Beamer was adopted from StreetCats as a kitten in 2009.  Although he was loving and friendly with his owner he was returned to us in October.  He had become aggressive to his owner's elderly cat.  His owner hated giving him up, but felt that it would be better for his older female cat.

Beamer is very healthy!  He has been to the vet and thoroughly checked out.  He has had all of the tests and vaccinations needed and has been given a clean bill of health!  He has been neutered, and microchipped, too.  When the new owner comes along we will update the chip with the new owner’s contact information.  The chip is invaluable in helping lost pets be returned to their owners.  StreetCats will take care of the first year's registration.

If you are interested in meeting Beamer, feel free to come by StreetCats at 6520 E. 60th St, in Tulsa, 10:30 - 5:00 Tuesday though Saturday, or call our message line, 918-298-0104, with any questions that you may have.  We would love to show you around and introduce you to Beamer and I’m sure that he would love to meet you, too!
