Feline Friday - Spud!

Spud is a friendly and laid back kitty.  He is a wonderful cat, a little on the mature side at 12 years old, but with many more great years to come.  He gets along with other cats, and probably would with kids, as well.  As for getting along with dogs, we just don’t know.  I think he would make a great member of any family!

We have a policy here at StreetCats that every cat that we take in is always a StreetCats cat.  In Spud’s case he was adopted a couple of years ago, but due to a cross country move the owner was unable to take him along.  So of course we took him back in and want to help in find a forever home.

Spud doesn’t mind being photographed, although when I was last in the shop he kept reminding me that I was interrupting his nap time.  He feigned interest in playing for one shot and then went right back to his sleepy self.  In the playing photograph you may notice that his front paws have been declawed.  Eventually he was overcome with sleep and made himself comfortable for the duration of the afternoon.

Spud is very healthy!  He has been neutered and has had all of his shots, as do all of StreetCat kitties.  He is also microchipped and will have the new owners contact information added to it when he is adopted.  The first year’s registration will be paid for by  StreetCats.

If you are interested in meeting Spud, feel free to come by StreetCats at 6520 E. 60th St, in Tulsa, 10:30 - 5:00 Tuesday though Saturday, or call our message line, 918-298-0104 with any questions that you may have.  We would love to show you around and introduce you to Spud and I’m sure that he would love to meet you, too!
