FELINE FRIDAY - MARY

Say "Hello" to Mary!  Mary is a short hair black and white tuxedo kitty with an estimated  birthday of 12-3-2008.

Mary was rescued as a kitten.  The woman who raised her got married and learned that the household would have a dog that might do her harm, so she brought her to StreetCats.

She is a playful, affectionate and friendly kitty.  She likes to sleep in an out of the way place where she can enjoy some peace and quiet.  That place is in the lower cabinets in the cats'
large room.  She has learned to unlatch the doors and let herself inside for nap time.

She is rather independent, but does like to play and be petted.  She doesn't like my camera, though.  If I stand way back away from her she doesn't run and lets me photograph her.

She is healthy!  She has been to the vet and thoroughly checked out.  She has had all of the tests and vaccinations needed and has been given a clean bill of health!  She has been spayed, and micro-chipped, too.  When the new owner comes along we will update it with the new owner’s contact information.  The chip is invaluable in helping lost pets be returned to their owners.  StreetCats will register her for her first year.

If you are interested in meeting Mary, feel free to come by StreetCats at 6520 E. 60th St, in Tulsa, 10:30 - 5:00 Tuesday though Saturday, or call our message line, 918-298-0104, with any questions that you may have.  We would love to show you around and introduce you to Mary and I’m sure that she would love to meet you, too!
